Own Zone logically comes with 2 components; the headset and its transmitter that is already paired as a wireless device you can connect to your TV via a series of multiple choices such as Aux, an optical cable, or RCA. These 2 cables allow you to listen to the headphones while the sound card of the TV still emits sound. So the Aux one allows only to use the headset without any sound from the sound card of the TV. In case you use the Aux, the change of the volume will not be offered by this choice, so you will have to do it manually.

Own Zone is not really new as an idea. Everyone uses an identical device, this device uses a line of sight to operate, but it is probably a solution for those who have struggled with the sounds around the house to listen to their TV, or those who have problems with who prefers a much stronger volume.
